It’s already been a week-yay!! The further this pregnancy progresses, the better I will start to feel. Right now the baby is the size of a kumquat (a little over an inch) and it is officially a fetus, no longer an embryo. All major organs are in place and now he or she just has to keep growing. Evidentally he/she is kicking up a storm, but I have yet to feel it. Sometimes I think for sure that I can, but it’s probably just in my head.
How am I feeling? Still pretty yucky. We are on the road again and staying with people, which can be difficult when you’re not feeling that great. Of course, it’s also a huge blessing in some aspects. I still get pretty sick after lunch and have to nap and the evenings get pretty rough as well. I eat constantly to feel better, it will be interesting to see how much weight I have already gained!
Can you tell I’m pregnant? Almost immediately after I wrote that post last week, I realized I am quickly outgrowing my clothes. My pants are okay, but my shirts definitely need to be baggy or I look like I have indulged in a few too many potato chips.
Any suspicions on gender? I just knew that Mia was a girl, but since then I have had no idea what my babies are until the ultrasound. This time around I am thinking it’s a boy, but let’s be honest, it’s 50/50. My mom’s doctor kept insisting that I was a boy and she would tell him that she knew I was a girl. He told her she was setting herself up for disappointment, but obviously she was right!
